BLEACHING EARTH

Uses: Bleaching Earth is used in the refining of oils, absorbing undesirable coloured compounds
and stabilising the oil by removing oxidising agents.

Bleaching Earth is a finely powdered clay product consisting chiefly of stevensite (a smectite clay) interlayered with kerolite.
